Post-Jam bugfix

This is a small post-jam bugfix release. It is essentially the same game with two small fixes:

  1. The of a draw is now handled gracefully. So far you had to restart the game.
  2. I discovered some artifacts in the way the large symbols were drawn. Turns out that could be solved by setting a different hinting mode for the font.
  3. Linux users can now install and run the AppImage through the itch client. That has the unfortunate sideeffect that if you download the game manually you need to unzip it first. Unfortunately I have no idea whether this works on Windows or OSX, reports are welcome!

I have devised different game modes and experimented with different speeds. Both could change the game significantly and I would like to add those as options. I would also like to make it a little prettier looking. All of those changes will be larger and I will have to see when I come around to them, so it will take some time.

With this release I consider the game jam version to be finished. See you around!

Thanks for the update! I still have to grab a second person for some serious whack-that-toe fun (digitally only of course)

As it stand it’s still very much a button masher, which is not quite what I had in mind originally. I myself am looking forward to the more tactical mode. I hope my idea will work out, design space is rather limited in tic-tac-toe land :]
